We believe that without a clear strategy everybody gets lost. So, we develop a communications strategy first. We work to a proven methodology: ‘The Pelican Path’.
The Pelican Path
Ensures that the campaign we create and deliver is directly aligned with the strategy. This five steps process can be summarised as: Probe, Planning, Production, Promotion & Perception.
Who we've worked with
Pelican was founded over 20 years ago by former newspaper editor Michael Bennett, who recognised the need for a specialist communications agency dedicated to the needs of food and environmental organisations.
Since then, we’ve advised many of the top names in the food supply chain and environment sector. Working nationally and internationally, our team is made up of marketing and public relations professionals, former journalists, social media specialists, team development consultants and graphic designers. Each is an expert in their field, who over the course of their careers have advised many leading organisations.
“The team at Pelican does a stellar job for us. They aren’t just professional about our account, they take ownership of it as if it is their own. They always go well above and beyond the call of duty and combine that with tremendous follow through. We highly recommend their services,” Ole Kragh Malle, senior project manager Royal Greenland.
“The Pelican team does a great job. They combine strategic advice with a passion to promote BFFF and frozen food,” John Hyman, Chief Executive, British Frozen Food Federation.
“The enthusiasm and expertise of the Pelican team when it comes to promoting CIM’s opinions to the press throughout the UK is excellent. They have delivered consistently over the past year, helping the PR team increase both the quality and quantity of CIMs press coverage, making a significant contribution to raising our profile in the market,” James Delves, Head of PR and Engagement, Chartered Institute of Marketing
