Marketing the marketers: Pelican wins Chartered Institute of Marketing brief

The Chartered Institute of Marketing has appointed Manchester marketing consultancy Pelican Communications to deliver its regional communications campaign.

Pelican secured the win following a competitive pitch process and will use its expertise to drive publicity for CIM’s regional and sector interest groups.

Pelican specialises in supporting clients in the food chain, environment and outdoor and leisure sectors.

It will work on a wide range of content and public relations activities to highlight CIM’s 11 regional groups across the UK. The campaign will also promote CIM’s 10 sector interest groups which include construction, food drink & agriculture and charity & social marketing.

CIM’s mission is create marketing advantage for the benefit of professionals, business and society with a focus on export, data and skills. It believes marketing is the critical factor in driving long term organisational performance.
