Waste specialist appoints pelican

Pelican’s recycling PR team has been appointed to handle communications for waste management machinery specialist Meltog.

Leeds-based Meltog designs and manufacturers shredding and compacting machinery for the processing and recycling of domestic and commercial waste.

Pelican’s first job is to launch a new range of shredders at the Recycling & Waste Management exhibition at the NEC this month.

Michael Bennett MD of the Saddleworth-based consultancy said: “The UK is collecting more and more rubbish for reprocessing and recycling and our job is to help Meltog take advantage of this growing market.

‘This win strengthens our sustainability team which already works for many of the sector’s major names.”
