A project from Pelican Communications has been recognised with a prestigious European communications award.
The campaign highlighted the role steel packaging can play in
helping achieve the goals and objectives set out in the European Commission’s Circular Economy Package (CEP) and featured an animated film produced by partner agency Morris & Chapman.
Trade association Apeal works to increase understanding and support for steel as a sustainable and resource efficient packaging solution.
This project is part of a wider pan-European communications campaign delivered by Oldham-based food chain and environmental specialist Pelican.
Commenting on the award, Apeal communications manager Patricia Mobbs said: “This is the third year in a row that Apeal has won a Europe-wide award for our digital and social media, it’s a great example of partners coming together to deliver a winning formula.”
Pelican managing director, Michael Bennett said: “This is another instance of our award-winning approach to delivering great results for clients both in the UK and across the rest of Europe.”
