In the wake of the pandemic there has never been greater focus on hygiene, which has led to a significant rise in sales of air purification equipment. At the same time, businesses are working towards ambitious carbon reduction targets. UV Safe products address both concerns, yet the business wasn’t attracting the attention you might expect. The team decided it was the perfect time for a re-brand and briefed Pelican with helping to raise the profile of their innovative technology.
UV Safe was largely unknown by many of the target audience and there was no clear proposition or incentive to buy UV Safe products. Progress was being hindered by a website which lacked sophistication, contained outdated information and offered a less than user-friendly journey.
The Pelican approach
The Pelican team recommended developing a clear proposition and consistent branding, including a refreshed logo, before executing the new look on a new website and brochure. This strategic approach ensured that the new marketing resources were consistent and communicated a single compelling thought: ‘managing biosafety’.
Once the proposition and branding were agreed, the next step was to create a map for the new website with user experience front of mind. With this framework agreed, it was time for Pelican’s copywriters and design team to populate the pages with up-to-date imagery and content consistent with the new brand guidelines.
This included re-writing all web copy, ensuring the text was consistent in tone and writing new case studies showcasing UV Safe’s work.
Following the successful launch of the new website and branding, UV Safe asked Pelican to continue to raise the profile of the business with a dedicated PR and communications campaign.
